Mobile Body S is a reconstruction of the whole human female body and presented in sagittal (side-to-side) cross-sections. Use a simple side scroller to journey through the human body to see real anatomy (not 3D computer modeling or illustrations).
Researchers encased and froze a donor body in gelatin, then cut it along the axial plane (from top to botom). They photographed each cut, resulting in over 5,000 images.
Mobile Body put those images together and presents the anatomy for you to explore.
If you like these images from Mobile Body S, then download the Mobile Body A (axial cross-sections) app and the free Mobile Body C (coronal cross-sections) app to complete the collection!
